The prize in question is awarded annually by Banco Santander and aims to promote the generation and transfer of knowledge in the different areas of corporate social responsibility, with the publication of the work in journals indexed in the Science Citation Index or the Social Sciences Citation Index being a requirement for admission to the competition.
The award-winning work is entitled “Circular economy in Spanish SMEs: challenges and opportunities”, and was carried out in co-authorship with researchers from the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra (Marta Ormazabal, Vanessa Prieto and Carmen Jaca).
This edition was coordinated by the Santander Chairs of Corporate Social Responsibility at the Universities of Malaga and Castilla-La Mancha.
