During the session, Catarina Santos presented his research to the Thesis Accompanying Committee (CAT) with the title:” Development of a model to support ergonomic analysis and design of a lower limb exoskeleton“.
Catarina Santos proposes the development of an ergonomic analysis model and the design of a specific exoskeleton for orthopedic surgeons, ensuring comfort and effectiveness in preventing WRMSD. The presentation covered the main objectives, the chosen methodology, and the expected results, providing a space for discussion and evaluation by CAT members.

The session provided a great chance for sharing knowledge and validating the research efforts undertaken up to this point. Catarina Santos’s thesis is poised to make substantial contributions to Industrial Engineering.
