Institution: DEMI, NOVA FCT (Caparica, Portugal)
Duration: 6 months (starting in March 2025, renewable)
Monthly stipend: €1259.64/month
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management, Electrical and Computer
- Engineering, or Environmental Engineering, recognized by a Portuguese university.
- Enrollment in a PhD program or a non-degree course (costs covered by the candidate).
- Availability to reside in Portugal and start work on the scheduled date.
Preferred Factors:
- Experience with LCA SimaPro software
- Relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in Portuguese and English
Work Plan:
- Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) to compare additive and traditional manufacturing
technologies.
- Development of a framework for sustainable spare parts production in the automotive
industry.
