EMPORIA4KT project wins in the “Blue Skills and Ocean Literacy” category at the Atlantic Awards 2022

The EMPORIA4KT - INTERREG Espaço Atlântico project, coordinated by NOVA School of Science and Technology, in the person of Professor António Grilo and with the collaboration of professors and researchers from DEMI / UNIDEMI, DCEA / MARE and DCSA / CIUHCT, was the winner of the Atlantic Awards 2022, in the "Blue skills and ocean literacy" category, at the 9th Atlantic Stakeholders Platform Conference ceremony, which took place on the 1st and 2nd of December in Cádiz, Spain.

The Atlantic Awards are awards that aim to recognize projects that have stood out during the year through collaborations and/or achievements relevant to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0, a plan whose main objective is to present new actors, projects and forms to the Atlantic Community. innovative ways to collaborate in the development of blue economy sectors
 
This award was presented to the EMPORIA4KT project by Dr. Marisa Lameiras da Silva, General Director of DGPM, and includes, in addition to the trophy and award certificate, a coaching package from the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0 assistance mechanism, to provide support in the next phase of the project’s growth, and an “Atlantic Project Award” seal, which can be used by the project in all its communications and marketing actions.
