On January 27th, 2025, at 02:00 PM, the doctoral defense of Sayed Milad K. Eslamzadeh took place in the Hall of Acts of Building IV at NOVA FCT. His presentation, titled “All Lives Matter: A Model for Resource Allocation to Fire Departments in Portugal” addresses the optimization of resource allocation in fire departments to improve the efficiency of fire protection services in Portugal.
The jury was chaired by Professor Virgílio António Cruz Machado, Full Professor at NOVA FCT, and included the following members:
