In Portugal, NOVA leads in the “Category Normalized Citation Impact (CNCI)” criterion, which measures the ratio of citations of published papers to the average citations of papers in the same category, year, and type of journal publication by an institution in a specific academic subject from 2018 to 2022. This reflects the excellence and innovation of NOVA’s research and its impact on the scientific community.
