Despite the development of numerous techniques and methods for maintenance enhancement, research and development of maintenance models that integrate such enhancements in a systematic way is scarce, a gap that is particularly significant in the naval industry. Hence, it is proposed to develop a smart maintenance model, in a 5.0 context, to be validated within the Portuguese Navy via case studies.
The model will integrate TRIZ methodology techniques, as well as complementary methods, meeting the need to eliminate possible technical contradictions and attain innovative approaches and solutions that enable its development and implementation.
