Digital services are pushing the economies towards the future, but healthcare is lagging behind. Our study showed that healthcare professionals need more training to tackle this challenge

The piece of news just published by the Journal Publico pointed-out the results of the survey on the digital training needs of healthcare professionals in Europe, covering Portugal, Belgium, Latvia, Norway and Italy. This study will be presented next week at a IEEE conference, as part of the European project eHospital4Future aiming at developing innovative digital health training (e.g., digital health processes management, AI for clinical decision-making, basic digital skills).

The Portuguese Public Radio (Antena 1) was also interested in the topic and Prof. Luís Lapão was interviewed about the impacts of the study, mainly in Portugal:
This project is led by Prof. Luís Lapão from the UNIDEMI, and funded by EU4Health (European Commission). The UNIDEMI team includes Dr. Mélanie Maia, Eng. Susana Alves and Eng. Matilde Santos.
